Between February 13th and 16th, 2003 three agents from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and an official from Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs traveled to Guantánamo prison and interrogated prisoner Omar Khadr, who was only 16 years old at the time.
Now 21 years old, Omar Khadr, a Canadian citizen, is accused by the United States government of having killed a memberof the American Special Forces in Afghanistan during a skirmish in July 2002.
He has been held prisoner in Guantánamo for the past six years. In July 2008, the Supreme Court of Canada ordered the release of a seven hour videotape that contains the interrogation by Canadian agents of Omar Khadr in Guantánamo.
The video enables viewers to hear and see, for the very first time, a portion of what actually occured inside the prison.
